Foundations of Yoga Who attends this class? Students with different body types, students with various levels of experience, and students who have never tried yoga before will develop the skill to practice hatha yoga, we teach Vin Power yoga, it is a combination of Vinyasa (Vinyasa yoga links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and the body) and Power yoga (Power yoga stems from the roots of Ashtanga yoga) . Vin Power is a class designed to increase power and strength in the mind and body it can be a challenge. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, Dan and Nic always suggests care and modifications, where everyone can feel welcome and listened to, we are made to feel you can take things at your own pace and realise with patience and time all can be attainable and achieve things we never thought possible, everyone belongs here. The series taught at East Side Yoga has enough repetition that at the end of four weeks you will have the confidence to take classes at any yoga establishment. The foundation series is a must for anyone needing a kick start to a healthy body and peace of mind or just wanting to increase your flexibility and build overall strength.
